The Baby Club is a ground-breaking show for CBeebies, aimed at babies aged upto 18 months old and their grown ups. The Baby Club brings the types of activities taking place at baby groups all over the country into people’s homes.
Each show is hosted by either Giovanna Fletcher or Nigel Clarke, who are joined by babies and their grown-ups for a 15 minute session of themed activities, and viewers at home are invited to take part too.
In each programme parents, carers and their babies play together and grow while exploring everyday objects through play, songs and stories.
The series is firmly rooted in academic research recognising how vital parent-baby attachment and interaction are to a child’s development.

Giovanna Fletcher is a mum of three and wife to McFly front-man Tom Fletcher. Mamma Gi has been crowned as The Queen of the Castle (I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here 2020 Winner) and a Sunday Times No. 1 best-selling author.
Giovanna’s an author and founder of the hugely successful podcast Happy Mum, Happy Baby, where she chats to other celebrity and non-celebrity parents, about all aspects of parenthood… the highs, the lows, the challenges and the rewards!

Nigel Clarke
Nigel Clarke is a dad of two. He’s a well-known TV presenter, currently presenting from the CBeebies House as well as on The Baby Club.
Nigel is an accredited Peep baby group facilitator and is passionate about the benefits of parents and babies attending baby groups and spending quality time together. He’s also founder of the Dadvengers podcast too, where he chats to other Dads and Mums, about all things Fatherhood!
The Baby Club's theme is always the episode title, and in each episode everyday items to do with the theme are explored.
If you and your baby want to play together too, all you have to do is have a clean and safe item, that’s linked to the theme, hidden inside a soft bag or pillowcase at the start of the show. Then stay with your baby to make sure they’re safe and happy as you join in and play along.
